Heidelberg Materials is seeking a Construction Manager II to lead and oversee capital construction projects, ensuring safe execution, operational excellence, and successful project delivery. This role partners closely with plant operations, contractors, engineering teams, and stakeholders to manage projects from planning through completion.

What You'll Be Doing

• Lead construction projects from planning and budgeting through execution and closeout.

• Coordinate contractors, vendors, and cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are achieved safely and efficiently.

• Monitor project schedules, budgets, and resources to deliver projects on time and within scope.

• Ensure compliance with all safety, environmental, regulatory, and company standards.

• Communicate project status, risks, and performance metrics to leadership and key stakeholders.

What Are We Looking For

• Demonstrated ability to successfully manage complex construction or industrial projects in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong knowledge of construction practices, project controls, contractor management, and safety programs.

• Proven capability to lead teams, influence stakeholders, and drive project execution.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to build collaborative relationships across all levels of the organization.

Work Environment

• Combination of office, plant, and active construction site environments.

• Regular travel to project locations as needed.

• Exposure to varying weather conditions, industrial equipment, and construction activities.

• Personal protective equipment (PPE) required when working in operational and construction areas.
