Supervisor, GMP and Technical Training
Houston, TX
The actual location of this job is in Houston, TX, US. Relocation assistance is available for eligible candidates and their families, if needed.
This is a fully site‑based role. Working together in person supports close, real‑time collaboration and the technical precision needed to manufacture medicines to the highest quality and safety standards.

What you will do:
Design, develop, and deliver instructor-led, hands-on, and on-the-job training programs for manufacturing personnel.
Qualify and certify manufacturing employees on production processes, aseptic techniques, cleanroom behaviors, equipment operation, and GMP documentation practices.
Maintain training curricula, qualification matrices, and training records in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Partner with Manufacturing leadership to identify skill gaps and develop targeted training plans.
Conduct training effectiveness assessments and implement continuous improvements to training programs.
Support onboarding of new manufacturing employees through structured learning pathways.
Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to develop and revise training materials, job aids, and standard work documentation.
Support deviation investigations related to training deficiencies and implement corrective actions when required.
Assist with new product introduction (NPI) activities by developing and delivering training associated with new processes, equipment, and procedures.
Participate in internal audits, regulatory inspections, and customer audits as a training subject matter expert.
Monitor training compliance and proactively address overdue qualifications.
Support both day shift and night shift based on business needs
Perform other duties as assigned.
What we are looking for:
Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, or related field
5-10 Years of experience if biotech/biopharma laboratory or manufacturing experience preferably in a Cell Therapy manufacturing environment.
Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
Excellent Aseptic Technique and Cleanroom Skills
Ability to perform aseptic gowning on a daily basis
Computer software skills (i.e. Cornerstone, Microsoft Office, Trackwise)
Database and spreadsheet creation and maintenance
Organization, record keeping, and planning skills
Managing multiple projects, time management skills
People management and training methods
Able to assess and recommend training needs and training assignments/requirements/curricula.
Ability to lead cross-functional consultation on training strategy, strong facilitation and delivery skills, and ability to coordinate complex training initiatives.
Skilled in coaching, training, and facilitation practices
Ability to travel at least 20% travel based on site location and or client visits
