The anesthesiologist will provide locum tenens coverage at an inpatient, outpatient, and OR facility in Atlanta, Georgia, working Monday through Friday on a schedule of 2 to 4 weeks per month. The preferred schedule is 5x10-hour shifts (50 hours per week), though 4x10-hour or 5x8-hour schedules will be considered. Case types include trauma, general surgery, orthopedics, and plastics, among others, with the exception of obstetric cases. The position operates primarily under a supervision model, with approximately 50% hands-on involvement; direct care is not frequent but may occur. Board certification is required, and fellowship training is preferred. No call duties are required for this assignment.
