Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Experience:
• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 2 years of Telemetry Unit experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).
• Experience with Cerner is preferred.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a California license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

Additional Details:
Special Requests: An interview may not be available prior to offer. At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to. Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility. Must disclose previous employment on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check.
Unit Details: Patient ratios are 1:4 for telemetry patients and 1:5 for MedSurg patients. If a mixed team of MS and Tele, the ratio is still 1:4. Patients include acute/chronic medical conditions, cardiac telemetry, stroke, COVID, forensic, and potential post-op cases; non-titratable drips are used. Drips are not titrated; common set-rate drips include Cardizem, Amiodarone, and Heparin. GE monitors are used, and RNs must be able to read and interpret all cardiac rhythms. CPAP or BiPAP may be used per RT and MD order; no vents. Fast-paced unit with many admissions and high acuity.
Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. A minimum of 1 major and 1 minor holiday is required. No call, but can be placed on standby for low census. If placed on standby and called in, they have a 30 min response time.
Floating Requirements: Travelers are first to float. Can be floated to Mercy Downtown (approx. 6.5 miles away). Can float to any MS/MST unit. Can float to ICU for MST patients. Can float to ER for MST holds.
Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1. Start assignment restriction: 14 days
