Pain Management Nurse Practitioner Requirements & Qualifications

• Valid CPR certification and current DEA license
• Arizona state licensure as a nurse practitioner
• Ortho, Pain or Neurology preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
• Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities
• Able to work effectively in a collaborative team and manage multiple tasks

Pain Management Nurse Practitioner Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop treatment plans
• Collaborate with physicians and other providers to deliver coordinated care
• Manage medication and integrate evidence-based pain management strategies
• Monitor patient progress and adjust interventions as needed
• Support a positive, patient-centered environment focused on quality of life
