RN Surgical First Assist

HCA Healthcare is seeking an RN Surgical First Assist to support complex surgical procedures in a fast-paced acute care setting. In this role, you will collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and perioperative teams to provide safe, efficient, and compassionate patient care. Responsibilities include pre-, intra-, and post-operative nursing care, first-assisting during surgery (retraction, suturing, hemostasis), maintaining sterile technique, and accurately documenting care. You will educate patients and families, support continuous quality improvement, and uphold HCA’s culture of teamwork, integrity, and patient-centered excellence while advancing your clinical skills.
