Lead Sonographer

Wellstar is seeking a Lead Sonographer to provide expert diagnostic ultrasound services and guide a high-performing imaging team. In this onsite role, you will perform and oversee a wide range of vascular, abdominal, OB/GYN, and small-parts studies using advanced ultrasound technology. You will coordinate daily workflow, uphold imaging protocols, and ensure accurate documentation in the EMR. Partnering closely with radiologists and physicians, you’ll support timely clinical decisions while mentoring technologists and students. You will champion safety, quality improvement, and compassionate, patient-centered care across our integrated health system.
