Hotel Overview:

Located in the heart of downtown Fairmont New Orleans will be an impressive new addition to Fairmont’s luxury portfolio, offering 250 luxury guest rooms, four food & drink venues, a rooftop pool with expansive views of the city, more than 19,000 square feet of function space, and a 10,000 square-foot spa.

This property is destined to become an illustrious destination in the Central Business District, nearby the city’s renowned and historic French Quarter.


  • Oversee Elite guests stays; which includes pre-arrival, room allocation, meet and greet upon arrival, and touching base with them through their stay.
  • Determine amenities for all Elite guests and coordinate directly with management team.
  • Coordinate and take ownership of all corporate, ownership requests and bookings.
  • Seeks out opportunities for guest-centric experiences in all outlets of the hotel.
  • Works with the departmental managers to put processes in place to ensure that these opportunities are executed by all employees.
  • Look for new/innovative ways to provide anticipatory service.
  • Coordinate among all departments for seamless execution of service
  • Administrative Responsibilities include
  • Manage and respond to customer comments received via the various platforms such as the electronic questionnaire system and social networks, etc.
  • Facilitate recognition of employees based on guest feedback
  • Coordinate and assist in the planning and execution of certain guest and employee relations events.
  • Support the management of the General Manager's calendar including booking of meetings, etc.
  • Perform administrative skills such as e-mailing, typing, copying, faxing, opening and sorting mail, coordinating appointments for General Manager, and answering telephones according to Fairmont standards
  • Assist in reviewing guest reservations requests and correspondence via Executive Office, using property management system and revenue management principles and reports to make rate and availability decisions
  • Handle complaints in the absence of the General Manager and Hotel Manager and inform them of action taken and follow up required.
  • Assist with follow ups to guests on behalf of the General Manager.
  • In addition, the Executive Admin provides a variety of reports and maintains multiple informational databases

  • Excellent computer skills, including a working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Power Point, and hospitality systems;
  • Background in food and beverage and/or rooms in a hotel environment
  • We are looking for individuals who have a strong administrative background, preferably in a similar role in a luxury hotel.
  • Excellent verbal and nonverbal communication skills and interpersonal skills is a must.
  • Successful candidate must work well under pressure, be able to multitask and have strong detail oriented and organizational skills.
  • High level of professionalism and integrity while preserving the confidentiality of the office;
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a dynamic and open work environment;
  • Interest and ability to provide outstanding service to our internal and external customers and our suppliers, and anticipate their needs;
  • High level of vocabulary in English, and be able to write in a stylish, professional manner, with excellent grammar, Bilingual in Spanish preferred;
  • Previous managerial experience in a hospitality and/or customer relations or a similar role required.
  • College diploma in hotel management, administration or related field.
