Maintenance Technician

Our client, a leading organization in the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the Facilities Maintenance Department supporting the plant operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Location: Round Lake, IL

Pay Range: $31.55

Shift: Shift B - 7PM to 7:30AM 3-2-2 12 hour shift

What's the Job?

• Provide maintenance project management for mechanical and electrical system issues.
• Develop root cause solutions to system problems, leading to continuous improvement.
• Offer leadership and guidance in the absence of the supervisor, including organizing shift tasks and passdowns.
• Perform technical troubleshooting and repairs on systems such as boilers, chillers, air compressors, and water for injection.
• Coordinate system shutdowns with other departments to ensure minimal operational impact.

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or GED required; technical school training preferred.
• 4-5 years of maintenance experience with mechanical systems like boilers, chillers, and air conditioning equipment.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical industry, especially with water for injection, is preferred.
• Familiarity with hardware/software control systems and maintenance management systems such as Maximo.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team members and plant management.
