Medical Surgical Oncology - Travel Registered Nurse- $2340 per week.

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).

• 12 months of Medical Surgical Oncology experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).

• Travel experience is preferred.

• Experience with Epic is required.

• Trauma Level 1 experience is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a North Dakota license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >60 miles from facility to be submitted.

• 6 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - Sanford Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - Sanford Health.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Hematology and bone marrow transplant experience preferred.

Unit Details: Cares for medically complex hematology/oncology patients needing blood products, antibiotics, and symptom/side effect management. Performs head-to-toe assessments, medication administration, interdisciplinary team communication, and patient/family updates. If trained, may administer chemotherapy. Uses Philips Care Monitors, glucometers, bladder scanners, language line, and zebra phone. 1:3 for patients receiving chemotherapy or bone marrow transplant; 1:4-5 for regular oncology patients; 1:4-6 on nights.

Shift & Scheduling: Rotating day/night schedule. Every other weekend. Every other holiday. No call required.

Floating Requirements: Float to other med-surg units at Broadway, with potential to float to Fargo med-surg units at Med Center or South.

14 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 12 months
