Position 1A Machine Operator Reports To Manufacturing Leader Location/Business Cudahy, WI / Milwaukee Cylinder Status Hourly Date 09/09/2026 Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Machinist to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and operating Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machines to produce high-quality precision parts. The ideal candidate blends technical proficiency with a sharp eye for detail to ensure every component meets our rigorous engineering standards.
Key Responsibilities:

• Machine Operation: Set up and operate CNC mills and/or lathes to perform tasks such as turning, drilling, and milling.
• Technical Interpretation: Read and interpret technical blueprints and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) symbols to determine dimensions and tolerances.
• Coding & Adjustments: Demonstrate a functional understanding of G&M code to make basic program edits and ensure machine paths are accurate.
• Quality Control: Perform frequent in-process inspections using precision quality gauges (micrometers, calipers, depth gauges, and go/no-go gauges).
• Maintenance: Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot minor issues to minimize downtime.
• Safety: Maintain a clean and safe workspace, adhering to all OSHA and company-specific safety protocols.

Qualifications & Skills
Requirement Description Technical Knowledge Proficiency in basic G-code and M-code for machine navigation and adjustments. Blueprints Proven ability to interpret complex mechanical drawings and schematics. Measurement Tools Expert use of precision measuring instruments to verify part accuracy within 0.001" (or as specified). Experience 2+ years of experience in a machining environment (preferred). Education High School Diploma or equivalent; technical certification or journey-worker status is a plus. Physical Requirements & Work Environment

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Capable of standing for extended periods in a manufacturing environment.
• Comfortable working around moving mechanical parts and moderate noise levels.
