Respiratory Unit - Respiratory Therapist - $1530 per week.

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 3 months of Meditech experience is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• Staff, Part-Time, and Per Diem employees currently working at this health system cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Critical care skills and ventilator management are required.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Ventilator experience preferred.

Unit Details: Equipment includes Servo and 840. Common procedures include nebulizer treatments, ABGs from A-lines and sticks, assistance with intubation and codes, and rapid responses.

Shift & Scheduling: The traveler is expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees.

Floating Requirements: HCA FL Largo West campus is a psych/rehab department of HCA FL Largo (Main) and should be treated as a float unit.

10 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months

Driver’s license required

• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program – 8th Edition)
