Job Details

The Role
  • Manage timely month-end close activities, including financial statement review and distribution.
  • Review bi-weekly labor reports, analyze variances, and communicate findings to management.
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations and reconcile various balance sheet accounts.
  • Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and supporting workpapers for quarterly management reviews.
  • Assist accounting leadership with preparation and documentation for internal and external audits.
  • Support additional accounting projects and financial initiatives as assigned.
  • Perform other related duties as needed.

Job Requirements
Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.

Experience
  • 3–5 years of accounting experience preferred.
  • Previous healthcare accounting experience preferred.
  • Experience working within a multi-entity organization.
  • Experience with Sage Intacct strongly preferred.

Skills & Qualifications
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and make independent decisions when appropriate.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong organizational, time-management, and prioritization skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • High degree of professionalism, ethics, integrity, and discretion when handling confidential information.
  • Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to effectively manage competing priorities and perform in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborative and adaptable approach, with the flexibility to respond to changing business needs and feedback.
