Respiratory Unit - Respiratory Therapist - $1880 per week.

Shift: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 6 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone who worked as Part-Time at a facility in this program in the last 6 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone who worked as Per Diem at a facility in this program in the last 6 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

In order to receive travel rate, clinician’s claimed residence must match address on drivers license.

Required Credentials: Driver License is required for RN/LPN/PTs working on a compact license. Ascension Core Competencies required during onboarding; HIPAA, Joint Commission, NPSG, and OSHA topics; completed within a year of start and updated every 3 years; minimum 80% or the national benchmark passing score that demonstrates competency in the area of specialization; only 2 attempts allowed.

Unit Details: Provides evaluation and care for patients with respiratory insufficiencies. Assesses patients for the appropriate type and frequency of treatment and develops a plan of care based on diagnosis. Implements and monitors patient care plans and equipment. Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition. Performs advanced respiratory care modalities. Evaluates respiratory practice, medication administration, and treatment based on patient outcomes. Educates patients and families about health conditions and provides information about community support groups and other available programs. Responds to emergency resuscitation team codes.

Shift & Scheduling: Travelers will be required to work up to 6 weekend shifts in a 6-week schedule period and holidays if the department has a need.
