Job Details

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform dimensional and visual inspections of manufactured components
  • Inspect incoming materials, production parts, and finished products
  • Utilize precision measurement tools to verify product specifications
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications
  • Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records
  • Identify and document nonconforming materials and products
  • Assist with root cause investigations and corrective actions
  • Support first article and in process inspections
  • Work closely with production and engineering to resolve quality concerns
  • Monitor manufacturing processes for compliance with quality standards
  • Assist with calibration and verification of inspection equipment
  • Support internal audits and continuous improvement initiatives

REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous quality inspection or Quality Technician experience in manufacturing
  • Experience using precision measurement tools
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
  • Knowledge of dimensional inspection techniques
  • Understanding of manufacturing quality processes
  • Experience documenting inspection results and quality findings
  • Strong ability to identify defects and specification deviations

NICE TO HAVES

  • Experience with micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other inspection equipment
  • Familiarity with coordinate measuring equipment
  • Exposure to ISO based quality systems
  • Experience with first article inspection
  • Knowledge of root cause analysis and corrective action
  • Familiarity with statistical process control
  • Experience supporting calibration activities
