<p><b>Apply for tomorrow’s opportunity today, with Volt</b> <br /> <br /> <b>Volt</b> is hiring for a <b>3rd Shift CNC Lathe Machine Operator </b>for a company located in San Diego (Miramar Area), CA..</p> <p>As a <b>3rd Shift Lathe Machine Operator</b>, you will:</p> <ul> <li>Operate production machinery and equipment in accordance with established procedures and production schedules.</li> <li>Set up machines for production runs, including loading materials and adjusting machine settings as required.</li> <li>Monitor machine performance to ensure efficient operation and consistent product quality.</li> <li>Perform routine machine start-up, shutdown, and changeover activities.</li> <li>Identify and correct minor machine issues, jams, or operational interruptions to minimize downtime.</li> <li>Conduct in-process inspections and verify parts meet quality specifications throughout production runs.</li> <li>Measure and inspect finished products using gauges, measuring tools, and visual inspection techniques.</li> <li>Record production output, scrap, downtime, and quality data accurately.</li> <li>Replenish raw materials and components to maintain continuous production.</li> <li>Maintain equipment cleanliness and perform basic preventative maintenance tasks.</li> <li>Communicate machine performance, quality concerns, and maintenance needs to supervisors and production leadership.</li> <li>Follow all safety procedures, operating instructions, and company policies while working with manufacturing equipment.</li> <li>Assist with continuous improvement initiatives focused on increasing machine efficiency, quality, and throughput.</li> </ul> <p><b>This is a full-time, Direct-hire opportunity.</b></p> <p><b>The ideal candidate will have:</b></p> <ul> <li>Experience operating CNC, automated, semi-automated, extrusion, molding, packaging, converting, or other production machinery.</li> <li>Experience performing machine setups, adjustments, and changeovers.</li> <li>Ability to read work orders, production schedules, and basic manufacturing documentation.</li> <li>Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.</li> </ul> <p><b>Schedule: Monday - Friday 3rd Shift: 9:45 PM - 5:45 AM</b></p> <p><b>Pay Range: $24/hr – $34/hr</b></p> <p>*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.</p> <p>Qualified candidates should <b>APPLY NOW </b>for immediate consideration!
