Hospitalist Physician

Hospitalist physician employment in Pennsylvania : Hospitalist need with day and night options in Eastern Ohio close to Cleveland and Pittsburgh. This is an academic hospital and this employer is looking for someone to teach and perform the duties of a Hospitalist. This is block scheduling where you will round on patients, do admissions that are divided equally and collaborate with the different specialties within the hospital. Intensivists run the ICU during day shift and moving to a teladoc Intensivist approach on night shift for ICU patients. $350,000 salary for days - $1920 per shift / $160 per hour. $365,000 salary for nights - $2112 per shift / $176 per hour. Extra shift work also available. CME time + $$$, Medical Director stipend additional if you desire (up to $30k), sign on bonus, retention bonus, relocation, etc.. 45 minutes to Pittsburgh, 2 hours to Cleveland. Additional monies for those who decide to participate in teaching. Total monies can far exceed $400,000. Duties to include - create and recommend treatment plans, take patient histories, update patient info, order tests, review / interpret test resutls, respond to questions / concerns, discuss nutrition, work with various medical staff. Board Certified or Board Eligible Medical Doctor with or w/o US residency with current US work visa.
