Full job description
AFS is seeking a Subcontract Management Specialist, in the DC Metro area.
The Work:
- Perform subcontract management and administration duties across a variety of subcontract types.
- Manage subcontract and task order awards and modifications through all phases, including formation, performance, and close‑out, with minimal guidance.
- Maintain compliant and accurate subcontract management records.
- Provide subcontract‑related advice and guidance to internal business teams.
- Build and maintain productive relationships with external industry partners and subcontractors.
- Prepare subcontractor Requests for Proposals (RFPs) aligned with client solicitation requirements.
- Evaluate subcontractor proposals and conduct detailed pricing analyses.
- Negotiate subcontractor proposals and agreements.
- Assess subcontractor performance risk and support the development of corrective action plans when performance concerns arise.
Here's what you need:
- Bachelor's Degree
- 3 years experience in Federal Government Subcontract Management OR Supply Chain Management OR Contracts Management OR Legal Degree OR a combination with a total of 6 years experience
- Experience negotiating subcontract agreements; preparing subcontractor RFPs; evaluating subcontractor proposals; and conducting subcontractor pricing analysis.
- Experience (or similar) preparing and managing (Contractor Purchasing System Review) CPSR compliant subcontract documentation.
- Knowledge of Public Law and FAR/DFARS
- U.S. Citizenship
Bonus points if you have:
- Knowledge of Contractor Purchasing System Review (CPSR) requirements
- Pre-award support in Government Contracts
As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, and the District of Columbia, and the city of Cleveland. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
