Full job description

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a HR Generalist to join their team. As a HR Generalist, you will be part of the Human Resources department supporting plant leadership and employee relations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational skills, effective communication, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization. This is a temporary role

Job Title: HR Generalist

Location: Pevely, MO

Pay Range: 30-32/hour

Shift: 7 AM- 4:15 PM

What's the Job?

  • Support the Plant Human Resources Manager and leadership team with daily HR operations.
  • Process weekly union hourly payroll for 250 to 350 employees and assist with salaried payroll adjustments.
  • Administer and manage accruals, absenteeism, and employee benefits programs.
  • Participate in employee relations investigations, resolve ongoing issues, and recommend corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and safety standards while maintaining accurate documentation.

What's Needed?

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of HR experience, including payroll processing, benefits administration, and employee relations.
  • Experience working with FMLA, benefits, and HRIS systems.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
