Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse - $1780 per week.

Shift: 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a South Carolina license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Qualivis Program - MUSC Health and no current placement allowed at Program: Qualivis Program - MUSC Health.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Tele competency required.

Preferred Skills/Experience: Previous Charge Experience: Preferred Community hospital experience is preferred.

Special Requests: All RTO must be included at time of submission. Approval will be based on facility needs. Any candidate that has 7+ days and/or includes holiday RTO will have to be submitted to the facility for approval and can delay the process. During hurricane season (June through November; peak August-September), travelers may be assigned to emergency response teams. If unavailable for emergency response duties, please do not confirm new assignments or extensions during this period. If your start date is within 90 days, you must complete all labs within 72 hours of signing an offer with MUSC.

Unit Details: Adult and geriatric patient population. Cares for patients with diabetes, HTN, CAD, seizure, CVA, TIA, and CRD.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. No call required.

Floating Requirements: Will float within scope to meet facility needs, including like units and sister facilities.

All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
