Job Title

Tanker Driver - 1st Shift

Position Overview

To package and transport Shaw Chem Products to various locations safely.


This position will be located at Plant 4C in Dalton, GA.

Pay Rate: $28.93


ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

(CONSIDERING JOB KNOWLEDGE, JOB ENVIRONMENT, EFFORT, MANIPULATIVE SKILL, JUDGEMENT, SAFETY KNOWLEDGE AND RESPONSIBILITY):


Hazmat endorsement required.

Work in Safe Manner and follow all Corporate Policies.

Maintain a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)

Maintain Hazmat and tanker endorsement.

Pass TSA Background Check.

Maintain a Valid Lift Truck License


Shipping/Receiving

Load and Unload Trucks via Lift Truck

Inspect Shipments for quantity and packaging integrity.

Transport finished products to the appropriate facility per order.

Manage related paperwork (shipping/receiving).

Complete appropriate checklist forms required.

Load and Unload Bulk Tankers.

Inspect tanks and hoses for leaks or ruptures.

Manage related paperwork (shipping/receiving).

Collect and label retain samples and submit to QC personnel for Quality Control.

Work Shift

8 Hr non-rotating shift, Hrs fall to in punch day, Observed Calendar, shift starts AM
