At Frank M. Tejeda Texas State Veterans Home in Floresville, we believe that exceptional care starts with exceptional people. We are seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Nurse (LVN or RN) who is passionate about resident care, medication management, and creating positive outcomes for those we serve.

In this key role, you will serve as the liaison between nursing and pharmacy services, ensuring residents receive medications safely, accurately, and in compliance with all regulatory requirements. Your work will directly support our mission of delivering a Best-in-Class Healthcare Experience to every resident, patient, and family we serve.

What You'll Do

• Coordinate and oversee pharmacy services to ensure timely medication delivery and administration.
• Monitor medication distribution processes to support resident safety and quality outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with all state, federal, VA, and Touchstone Communities policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with nursing, pharmacy providers, and interdisciplinary teams to resolve medication-related concerns.
• Support efficient medication management systems while balancing quality care, regulatory compliance, and cost effectiveness.
• Assist in maintaining accurate records, monitoring pharmacy performance, and identifying opportunities for process improvement.
• ** Must be able to participate in the clinical on-call rotation. Schedule will be Mon-Fri. **
• Salary range for LVN $32.00 and RN $39.00

Qualifications

• Current and active Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license required.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a supervisory or leadership capacity within a skilled nursing facility, long-term care setting, or hospital environment.
• Strong knowledge of medication administration practices, regulatory requirements, and pharmacy operations.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to delivering compassionate, resident-centered care.
