As an Occupational Therapist, you will work within a supportive interdisciplinary team that typically includes physical therapy, speech therapy, nursing, social services, and activities staff, all committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. In this role, you can expect a typical day to involve completing comprehensive evaluations, establishing individualized treatment plans, and providing one-on-one and group interventions aimed at improving functional mobility, self-care, cognition, and safety. You will guide patients through ADL training, energy conservation techniques, adaptive equipment use, and environmental modifications to support safe, sustainable independence. You will also participate in care conferences, collaborate on discharge planning, and provide education and training to families and caregivers. Patient caseload will primarily consist of adult and elderly individuals with a range of diagnoses, such as orthopedic conditions, post-surgical recovery, neurological disorders, chronic illnesses, and general deconditioning. Patient ratios and caseloads are structured to balance productivity expectations with quality of care, and the facility strives to maintain reasonable workloads that support thorough, individualized therapy. The environment is designed to be clinician-friendly, with therapy spaces and equipment that facilitate both restorative and maintenance programs. Shifts are typically daytime hours on weekdays, with the possibility of some flexibility depending on facility needs and patient schedules. You will be expected to manage your time efficiently, complete documentation in the EMR in a timely manner, and adhere to all regulatory and professional standards. Required Qualifications Occupational Therapist, Skilled References: 1 Reference in entire work history

License and SNF experience are required.
