Security Officer
Full time
$17.50 an hour
Sunday to Thursday 11:00pm to 7:00pm
Securitas is seeking professional, dependable, and customer-focused individuals to join our team as Data Center Security Officers. This position plays a critical role in protecting a high-profile data center facility by maintaining a secure environment for employees, visitors, and assets.
Important Training Requirement:
Selected candidates must be available to complete 40 hours of paid training on a daytime schedule before transitioning to the assigned overnight shift.
Responsibilities
- Monitor facility access and verify credentials of employees, contractors, and visitors.
- Conduct security patrols of the property and critical infrastructure areas.
- Monitor CCTV systems, alarms, and security equipment.
- Respond to incidents, emergencies, and security-related concerns.
- Complete detailed reports and maintain accurate activity logs.
- Provide exceptional customer service while enforcing site security policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Valid driver's license in good standing (if applicable).
- Ability to obtain and maintain any required state security licensing.
- Strong communication and computer skills.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
- Ability to stand, walk, and patrol for extended periods.
- 18 years of age or older.
- Must have great attention to detail and have the ability to remain vigilant throughout shift.
- Previous security experience highly preferred

- Permanent Assignment: 3rd Shift / Overnight Su
- Training: 40 hours on a daytime schedule prior to beginning overnight duties.
