Job Description​

Saint Luke’s Hospital of Kansas City is hiring for an Oncology Clinic Nurse for their Oncology Clinic. This position is part of a rapidly growing program and will assist with care coordination, research studies, provide patient and family education, scheduling, triage, assist with procedures, and collaborate with a multi-disciplinary innovative care team committed to innovation and improving patient outcomes. This is a high volume fast-paced Magnet designated clinic. This clinic is INCP and QOPI Certified.

HOURS: Monday – Friday 8 AM to 4:30 PM.

May be asked to float to other locations: Overland Park, North Kansas City, Lees Summit

Responsibilities:

  • Phone Triage

  • Schedules emergent-need appointments.

  • Patient follow-up calls.

  • Patient education on particular procedures and processes.

  • Subject matter expert in respective specialty for hospital RNs in the units.

  • Regularly meets with other disciplines to share best practices on care treatments.

  • Care for patients with a long-term treatment process.

  • Additional duties as applicable.

Applicable Experience:

2 years

Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross, Registered Nurse - Various

Associate Degree
