Physical Therapist Outpatient position available in Atlanta, Georgia. This role involves evaluating assigned patients, developing and implementing treatment plans, and ensuring effective rehabilitation with a focus on patient safety and quality of care. The therapist will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, serve as an educator for patients and families, and contribute to program development within an outpatient setting.
Job Details:
Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week.
Certifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, State License, and Experience: Degree in Physical Therapy from an Accredited School; 1+ Year of Outpatient Clinical Experience; CPR Certification; active applicable license for the State of Georgia; 0 years of minimum experience required.
Responsibilities include completing comprehensive patient evaluations, creating individualized treatment plans, documenting clinical notes accurately and timely, and ensuring care is provided under valid physician orders.
Participates in student training programs, providing supervision and evaluation, fostering a positive learning environment.
Maintains professional licensure in good standing and adheres to all regulatory guidelines and organization standards.
Demonstrates commitment to organizational performance improvement initiatives and safety protocols, emphasizing safe patient handling, infectious disease control, and Slip/Trip/Fall prevention.
Applies clinical reasoning and professional development strategies to meet organizational goals and improve service quality.
