Work Environment

This position is based in-home, allowing for personalized patient interaction in a comfortable and familiar setting. The structure of your work will typically follow a Monday to Friday schedule from 8 AM to 5 PM, optimizing your work-life balance while serving diverse patient needs in the community.

Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Insightful Motion Therapy, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Assessing each patient's condition and developing individualized treatment plans that meet their unique physical therapy needs.
• Maintaining an efficient patient load of one patient per hour to ensure focused and comprehensive care.
• Implementing cost-effective therapies designed to enhance patient mobility and range of motion, while also aiming to reduce the reliance on medications.
• Utilizing manual therapy techniques and exercise programs tailored to the patient's specific goals for rehabilitation.
• Documenting patient progress accurately within Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems such as WebPT and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to enhance care quality.
• Encouraging patient motivation and participation in their recovery journey, working diligently to help each client achieve their functional objectives.
• Evaluating treatment outcomes and adjusting therapeutic approaches based on patient feedback and observed progress.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clientele includes a diverse range of patients requiring orthopedic rehabilitation in a home care setting, with conditions often affecting mobility, strength, and overall physical function. You will work closely with individuals experiencing post-surgical recovery, chronic pain management, and neurological conditions, among other challenges. Your expertise will make a significant impact in their recovery journeys.

Qualifications

To qualify for this position, candidates must possess:

• A Master's (MPT) or Doctorate (DPT) degree in Physical Therapy.
• Active licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida, with no disciplinary actions on record.
• Proficiency in manual therapy and the design of effective exercise programs tailored to individual patient needs.
• Experience with EMR systems, particularly WebPT, to ensure accurate record-keeping and communication.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, the following experiences would be advantageous:

• Prior work experience in orthopedic outpatient settings, which will provide valuable insight into patient management strategy and rehabilitation approaches.

Compensation and Benefits
