Minimum Requirements

  • Master‘s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational program.
  • Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and current Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA.
  • Active Georgia state SLP license is required to start the assignment.
  • BLS certification from AHA or ARC required.
  • Minimum 1 year of speech-language pathology experience required. Previous outpatient rehabilitation experience highly preferred.
  • Previous travel clinician experience required. First-time travelers will not be accepted.
  • Experience evaluating and treating patients with stroke/CVA, neurological disorders, orthopedics, multi-trauma, and debility preferred.
  • Experience using EPIC EMR preferred.


Assignment Details

  • Facility type: Outpatient clinic (hospital-affiliated outpatient rehabilitation).
  • Shift: Days.
  • Schedule: 5x8 (standard 40 hours per week).
  • Patient volume: Typically 10–15 patients per day; 30-minute treatment intervals with 1-hour complex evaluations.
  • Orientation: New employee orientation plus 5 days departmental orientation.
  • Department support: 2 therapists, 1 office coordinator, and 1 rehab aide on site.
  • Required to follow facility dress policy. Polos provided; prefer slacks and clean shoes. Free parking available.
