Key Responsibilities

• Implement and execute individualized treatment plans under the supervision of licensed Physical Therapists.
• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and activities of daily living to promote physical recovery.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, sharing insights and updates with the healthcare team to adjust care strategies as necessary.
• Create a safe and motivating environment for rehabilitation, using encouragement and positive reinforcement to aid patient compliance.
• Engage in proactive communication with patients and their families to foster a supportive atmosphere.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to enhance treatment outcomes through collaborative discussions about patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population primarily includes adults recovering from surgical interventions, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. The ideal candidate should be prepared to interact empathetically with a diverse range of patients, working closely with those who may face mobility challenges due to age, illness, or injury. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Active Physical Therapist Assistant license in Virginia or eligibility for licensure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on delivering person-centered care.

Compensation and Benefits

The Athletics Therapy Center offers a competitive annual salary range of $60,000 to $75,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a competitive salary, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
