Are you an experienced maintenance mechanic looking for a challenging and rewarding career opportunity? We are a leading manufacturing company seeking a Maintenance Mechanic for our 2nd shift operations. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of our production machinery and equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of skilled and semi-skilled tasks to maintain, repair, and install machinery and equipment. Responsibilities:

As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for:

1. Performing preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.
2. Diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical issues on production equipment and implementing effective solutions.
3. Performing various welding activities, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding, to repair and maintain machinery and equipment.
4. Reading and interpreting equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
5. Using a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties.
6. Complying with safety regulations and maintaining clean and orderly work areas.
7. Documenting and maintaining records of all maintenance and repair work.
8. Participating in continuous improvement initiatives and suggesting changes to enhance equipment performance and efficiency.

Qualifications:

To be considered for the Maintenance Mechanic position, you should have:

1. A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry.
2. Proven experience in welding, equipment maintenance, preventive maintenance, machinery maintenance, and troubleshooting.
3. Excellent mechanical knowledge to understand and work with complex machinery and equipment.
4. A certificate or diploma in a relevant field is preferred.
5. Proficiency in using various hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.
6. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues effectively.
7. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
8. The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
9. High attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
10. A strong commitment to adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
