About the Position

TransForce is seeking two CDL B Drivers to support local transportation operations in Upper Marlboro, Maryland. This short-term flex assignment is primarily temporary, with a potential temp-to-hire opportunity for interested drivers.

Pay & Schedule Details

• Pay: $26 per hour
• Schedule: Monday through Friday
• Hours: Approximately 5:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.; some days may begin earlier
• Hours per week: 40
• Start date: September 7, 2026
• Employment type: Short-term flex
• Home time: Home daily

Job Details

• Route type: Local
• Service area: Maryland and Virginia, based on the assigned jobsite
• Freight: Dry sand and dry cement
• Equipment: Gunite mixer truck
• Handling: No-touch freight; driving only with no loading or unloading
• Transmission: Automatic-only drivers are accepted

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a gunite mixer truck throughout Maryland and Virginia
• Transport dry sand and dry cement from Upper Marlboro to assigned jobsites
• Return for and deliver additional loads when required
• Safely operate a loaded truck weighing up to approximately 72,000 pounds
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Maintain accurate paperwork and communicate effectively with dispatch
• Follow all company, DOT, and jobsite safety procedures

Minimum Requirements

• Valid CDL B or CDL A
• 1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
