• Needs discovery and solution selling.
• Creating inspired spaces with world-class furniture and décor.
• Follow-up and after-sale service.
• Overcoming objections and closing the sale.
• Maintain strong product knowledge including features, benefits, pricing, and availability.

• Contribute to store sales goals by selling furniture, accessories, and services.
• Consistently execute the La‐Z‐Boy selling process and strive to provide a favorable experience to all customers.
• Assist with showroom readiness including:
• Maintaining displays, tagging, signage, and general cleanliness.
• Supporting floor moves and merchandise placement - MUST lift and assemble furniture.
• Support truck days and merchandise flow by:
• Assisting with unloading and moving furniture and accessories.
• Helping place merchandise on the showroom floor.
• Moving furniture to the backroom for customer pickup.
• Assist customers with loading purchased merchandise when needed.
• Wrap and prepare furniture for customer take-with purchases.

• Experience in sales or retail (luxury experience = a major plus).
• Polished, persuasive, and endlessly ambitious.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required.
• Excellent communication, customer service skills, and organizational skills.
• Demonstrated persuasion and negotiation skills.
