The Opportunity

As Senior Director, Market Access Insights & Analytics within Data, Digital, & Analytics, you will lead a world-class team of specialized analysts who power the analytical engine behind assessing the impact of policy and impact on our portfolio. Reporting to the Executive Director of Portfolio Insights & Analytics, you will serve as a vital thought partner to our Patient Access & Affairs (PAA) organization—delivering the deep analytics, predictive modeling, and evidence required to inform complex policy, pricing, and reimbursement choices. We are looking for an ambitious analytics leader who brings deep, hard-earned domain expertise in U.S. market access, contracting, and pricing data. In this role, you will elevate our capability from ad-hoc reporting to scalable, modular data products that directly sharpen forecasting, launch readiness, and portfolio investment decisions. You will empower your team to translate messy healthcare datasets and major reforms like the Inflation Reduction Act into objective, high-impact business frameworks. As a trusted advisor and compelling communicator, you will navigate our matrixed enterprise to guide cross-functional partners toward confident, data-driven decisions.

Key Accountabilities

  • Strategic Access & Policy Analytics: Partner closely with PAA, DDA partners, Finance, and Brand teams to help the team model and quantify the financial impact of current and proposed health policies (e.g., IRA, price appreciation caps, MFP/MFN concepts), access strategies, and contracting, directly informing portfolio forecasting and scenario planning.
  • Modular Capability & Product Development: Architect, build, and deploy scalable, repeatable analytics products and decision blueprints across brands, transitioning the organization from one-off, bespoke analyses to modular, reusable capabilities.
  • Measurement and optimization: Work closely with the Measurement CoE to develop models/tools for PAA the help identify where investment strategies are best served to maximize portfolio level returns.
  • Cross-Functional Pod Support: Lead analytics within cross-functional segment pods alongside PAA, Brand Analytics,, and Field Analytics leads to evaluate access, pricing, and contracting scenarios that balance product access with portfolio financial goals.
  • Predictive Analytics Modeling: Lead the development of predictive analytics models using advanced healthcare datasets to optimize critical milestones across the end-to-end patient and care partner journey. Collaborate with Patient Insights, Therapeutic Area Insights, and Population Health Insights to support the development of robust patient journeys.
  • Launch Excellence & Decision Frameworks: Establish repeatable access insights, KPIs, governance touchpoints, and measurement to enable scalable analytical frameworks for decision support.
  • Strategic Advisorship: Serve as a trusted advisor to senior Access and Commercial leadership, prioritizing the analytics decision agenda by strategic importance, urgency, and expected portfolio value.
  • People Leadership & Capability Building: Direct, coach, and mentor a team of specialized analysts, empowering them to operate as strategic owners who influence cross-functional decisions across a complex matrixed organization.

Who you are

  • You have a Bachelors degree
  • Deep Domain Expertise: 12+ years of progressive experience in advanced analytics, data science, or predictive modeling within the pharmaceutical or payor sector, with specialized expertise in U.S. market access, pricing, contracting, and payer/provider strategy analytics (not a generalist insights background).
  • Healthcare Dataset Mastery: Extensive hands-on experience leveraging complex, patient-level analytics, including longitudinal claims, EHR/EMR, specialty pharmacy data, and Rx fulfillment data to generate commercial insights.
  • Productization of Analytics: Proven track record of translating ad-hoc analytical models into scalable, automated data products, modular tools, and enterprise-wide decision support frameworks.
  • Policy & Reimbursement Acumen: Advanced understanding of U.S. healthcare reimbursement, payer segments, gross-to-net mechanics, 340B, and major policy reforms (such as the IRA, inflation penalties, and state transparency requirements). Expertise in translating policy decisions into financial impact.
  • Matrix Leadership & Influence: Demonstrated success leading cross-functional alignment and influencing decision-making among senior executives across Policy, Legal, Finance, Commercial, and Technology functions in a highly matrixed enterprise.
  • Advanced Modeling Skills: Expertise in scenario and sensitivity analysis, with a strong ability to translate intricate statistical and financial models into clear, high-impact business recommendations.
  • Tech & AI Integration: Experience partnering with data science and technology teams to integrate commercial AI, digital tools, and workflow automation into practical business operations.
  • People Management & Coaching: Proven ability to recruit, build, and develop high-performing teams, fostering a culture of strategic ownership, analytical rigor, and continuous innovation.
