We are a technically advanced foundry specializing in centrifugal casting, producing high-performance tubular and ring-shaped components for demanding industries. As a Metallurgical Engineer, you’ll be at the forefront of process development, customer collaboration, and technical problem-solving — shaping the future of our products and our technology.
Responsibilities
- Engineer the process: Develop and optimize metallurgical practices for centrifugal casting, from melt preparation to solidification control driving final properties and part performance.
- Collaborate with customers: Translate technical requirements into solutions, provide metallurgical expertise and build strong partnerships.
- Drive innovation: Investigate alloy behavior, microstructure, and mechanical performance to push the boundaries of casting technology.
- Solve challenges: Work side-by-side with production teams to troubleshoot issues and implement improvements that make our processes better, faster and cheaper.
- Lead documentation: Prepare technical reports, specifications, and presentations that influence leadership and customers.
- Champion improvement: Advance efficiency in melting, casting and heat treatment operations.
Requierements
- Bachelor’s in metallurgical engineering, Materials Science, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- 2+ years of foundry or casting industry experience preferred; centrifugal casting expertise and AOD experience are highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of stainless steel, nickel, cobalt, and/or copper-based alloys.
- Experience with heat treatment, microstructure analysis, and mechanical testing.
- Demonstrated ability to lead projects and collaborate across departments.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to engage directly with customers on technical matters.
