Lead Sonographer

WellStar is seeking a Lead Sonographer to deliver advanced diagnostic ultrasound services within our integrated, patient-centered health system. In this role, you will perform and oversee complex imaging exams, ensure exceptional image quality, and support accurate, timely diagnoses. You will coordinate daily workflow, mentor and precept sonographers and students, and collaborate closely with radiologists, physicians, and multidisciplinary teams. The Lead Sonographer also champions safety, regulatory compliance, and continuous quality improvement across hospital and outpatient settings.
