About the Role

As a Multi-Classroom Teacher, you will provide day-to-day instructional support across multiple TK to first grade classrooms at our Stratford School campus in Milpitas. Each morning, you will report to the campus and receive your assignment based on classroom or supervision coverage needs. In addition to classroom teaching, you may support with general student supervision or assist the Principal with daily campus operations.

You’ll have the opportunity to work with a variety of students, collaborate with different teachers, and experience multiple classroom settings.

This Multi-Classroom Floater Teacher position is designed as a developmental role, intended to prepare candidates for a future Classroom Teacher position. It is expected that individuals in this position will actively work toward and be prepared for placement in a Classroom Teacher role as openings become available.

  • Location: 341 Great Mall Parkway, Milpitas, CA
    Salary: $62,000-$66,000 yearly
    Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday (10-Month School Year)

What You'll Do:

  • Provide instructional and administrative support across multiple grade levels
  • Step in as a lead teacher during staff absences
  • Follow established lesson plans or create new ones for long-term assignments
  • Collaborate with lead teachers and school staff to ensure a smooth classroom experience
  • Assist in managing student behavior and maintaining classroom routines
  • Adapt to different grade levels and teaching styles with professionalism and flexibility
  • Performs other duties as assigned

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university (required)
    Prior classroom or educational experience preferred
    Strong communication and organizational skills
    Positive attitude and a passion for working with elementary-aged children
    Willingness to be flexible and step into a variety of classroom settings
