Pediatric Hospitalist
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 7 on/7off Pay Rate: $ - $
A hospital-employed pediatric practice in the heart of Colorado's Rocky Mountains is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Pediatrician to join its inpatient-focused pediatric team in beautiful Glenwood Springs.
Position Highlights
- Hospital-employed pediatric hospitalist position
- Cover the Normal Newborn Nursery, Level II Nursery, and pediatric inpatient service
- Average daily census of approximately 10 patients, primarily newborns
- Typical schedule of 24–36-hour shifts
- PICU and NICU telehealth support available for higher-acuity patients
- Occasional outpatient clinic coverage to maintain continuity and team collaboration
- Broad scope of pediatric hospital medicine with significant clinical autonomy
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary: $270,000–$300,000

Candidate Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics
- Current PALS and NRP certifications
- Recent experience caring for newborns and pediatric inpatients
- Comfortable attending high-risk deliveries, stabilizing critically ill newborns, and coordinating transfers
