Pediatric Hospitalist

A hospital-employed pediatric practice in the heart of Colorado's Rocky Mountains is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Pediatrician to join its inpatient-focused pediatric team in beautiful Glenwood Springs.

Position Highlights

  • Hospital-employed pediatric hospitalist position
  • Cover the Normal Newborn Nursery, Level II Nursery, and pediatric inpatient service
  • Average daily census of approximately 10 patients, primarily newborns
  • Typical schedule of 24–36-hour shifts
  • PICU and NICU telehealth support available for higher-acuity patients
  • Occasional outpatient clinic coverage to maintain continuity and team collaboration
  • Broad scope of pediatric hospital medicine with significant clinical autonomy

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary: $270,000–$300,000
  • Quality incentive bonus

Candidate Requirements

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics
  • Current PALS and NRP certifications
  • Recent experience caring for newborns and pediatric inpatients
  • Comfortable attending high-risk deliveries, stabilizing critically ill newborns, and coordinating transfers
