Job Description & Requirements Hematology - Oncology Physician
StartDate: ASAP Pay Rate: $388.00 - $420.00
This facility is seeking a Hematology - Oncology Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.
Details and requirements for this opportunity:
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM clinic hours for 3–4 months starting January 4, 2027; call coverage 7 days per week through May 15, 2027. Inpatient rounding up to 2 hours daily as needed. Provider is not required to be in-house for call.
- Practice Setting: Hybrid; outpatient clinic with inpatient consult rounding.
- Type of cases and required procedures: Hematology/Oncology patient care; knowledge of National Comprehensive Cancer Network Guidelines (NCCN) guidelines, chemotherapy treatment planning, and emergency response to medication side effects. Consults only; no admissions or discharges required.
- Credentialing timeframe: 45-60 days
- Electronic Medical Record (EMR): EPIC
- Certifications required: Must be Board Certified
- Licensure required: Must have an active Indiana medical license and Drug Enforcement Administration License (DEA) registration (or one that can be easily transferred and remain in Indiana)
