Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse- $2270 per week.

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Illinois license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.

• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to.

Unit Details: Common diagnoses include NSTEMI, COPD, PNA, sepsis, and AKI. Respiratory therapy equipment is limited to home units at this time; heated high flow is the highest level available in the hospital. The unit uses telemetry; monitor technicians read the strips, and RNs sign off on strips throughout the shift.

Shift & Scheduling: Night shifts run 7P-7A. Every other weekend is typical. Every other holiday is typical. No on-call requirement; low census can happen but is rare.

Floating Requirements: Floating may be to ICU, ER, or BHC if the clinician has the appropriate level of experience; otherwise, floating out of Med-Surg is not required.

14 days maximum time off

2 Charge/Lead/Supervisor references required from within the last 12 months
