Registered Nurse ER Inpatient Holds

St. David’s Medical Center in Austin, TX seeks a Registered Nurse for the ER Inpatient Holds unit. The RN will provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients boarding from the emergency department, performing assessments, administering medications, managing IVs, monitoring vital signs, and coordinating care plans. Responsibilities include collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary teams, documenting in the EHR, educating patients and families, and ensuring safety and infection control. RNs will participate in continuous learning, support new staff, and uphold the hospital’s patient-centered, team-focused culture.
