Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans tailored to students needs

• Collaborate with teachers parents and support staff to foster student success

• Manage classroom activities and behavior to create a safe positive learning environment

• Assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly

• Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with district policies

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Education, Special Education, or equivalent

• Valid Texas Teaching Certification in Special Education or equivalent

• Minimum 1 year experience working in a school setting with special education students

• Familiarity with IEPs

• Familiarity with behavior management strategies

• Reliable transportation

• Background check clearance

• Ability to work collaboratively within a school team

• Strong communication skills
