Respiratory Unit - Respiratory Therapist - $2030 per week.

Shift: 5:00 PM - 5:30 AM

Experience:

• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Respiratory Unit experience with any experience within the last 4 months.

• Experience with Cerner is preferred.

• Experience with Epic is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• No current placement allowed at Program: FlexCare Partner Network Program - Adventist Health.

Additional Details:

Preferred Skills/Experience: Three years’ technical experience preferred.

Preferred Credentials: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred. Master’s degree preferred.

Unit Details: Provides respiratory care services for adult and geriatric patients. Performs basic and critical respiratory care services, including ventilator care, arterial blood gases, pulmonary function tests, drainage procedures, bronchoscopy assistance, and specialty procedures in both outpatient and bedside settings. Busy rural facility with exposure to critical care, stroke, dialysis, and OB patients.

Shift & Scheduling: No set days of the week. No call. Weekend coverage required: two weekend shifts per pay period.

Floating Requirements: You may be required to float to Adventist Health locations within 30 miles.

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 2 years

1 Manager reference required from within the last 2 years

Driver’s license required

Certifications:

• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist) or the alternative certification CRT

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program – 8th Edition)

• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)

• Pediatric Advanced Emergency Assessment, Recognition and Stabilization (PEARS)

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
