Endocrinology Opportunity ' Tampa / Wesley Chapel, Florida
Physician-Led Multispecialty Group | Inpatient & Outpatient | No State Income Tax
A large, physician-led multispecialty group of over 300 physicians is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Endocrinologist to join its growing team in the Tampa Bay area .
This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established, professionally managed healthcare system with strong operational support, a collaborative physician network, and a balanced inpatient/outpatient practice.
Position Highlights:
- Inpatient and outpatient Endocrinology
- Adult patient population, ages 18 and older
- Call coverage: 1:4
- Monday'Thursday, 8:00 am'5:00 pm
- Friday, 8:00 am'3:00 pm
- Average 20'23 patients per day
- EPIC electronic health record system
- Dedicated medical assistant per provider
- Front office staff, supervisor, and Associate Director support
- Strong inpatient support from hospital medicine physicians
- Collaborative environment with primary care and specialty physicians
- Leadership opportunities available
- Accountable Care Organization environment
- Spanish-speaking skills preferred
Clinical Setting:
The practice is based in Tampa, with hospital coverage in the growing Wesley Chapel area. Physicians work in a supportive, well-resourced setting designed to allow providers to practice high-quality, patient-centered medicine while utilizing their full range of clinical skills, including preventive care, chronic disease management, acute care, and office-based procedures.
Candidate Requirements:
- MD or DO
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Endocrinology
- Must possess, or be eligible to obtain, an unrestricted Florida medical license
- Strong commitment to high-quality patient care
- Team-oriented approach to practice
- Spanish-speaking ability preferred, but not required
