Lead Sonographer

Wellstar is seeking a Lead Sonographer to deliver advanced diagnostic ultrasound services and guide a collaborative imaging team. This role performs complex exams, reviews images for quality, and partners closely with radiologists and providers to support accurate, patient-centered diagnoses. The Lead Sonographer coordinates daily workflow, mentors technologists, and upholds safety, infection control, and accreditation standards. Working within a large, innovative not-for-profit system, this position supports continuous learning, protocol improvements, and high-quality care across diverse clinical settings in the community.
