Respiratory Therapist - Per Diem Level I - Shifts Vary

Hourly Pay Range:
$33.16 - $49.74 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position: Respiratory Therapist - Per Diem Level I - Shifts Vary
Location: Edward Hospital - Naperville, IL and may require coverage at Plainfield Emergency Center
Per Diem Level I - Must be able to work 48 hours every 6 weeks. Hours: Shifts will vary Monday-Friday including weekends but will be mostly evening shifts from 3:00pm -11:30pm and there may be some day shifts from 7:00am-7:30pm. 1 winter holiday and 1 summer holiday required.

Assists Physicians, as requested with Respiratory Therapy procedures
Provide respiratory therapy to neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients as ordered by physicians according hospital policy and procedures
Document treatment, equipment maintenance and quality control activities and transcribe verbal or phone order by physicians
Monitor patient physiological response to therapy with special attention to the pediatric and neonatal patients
Graduation from a nationally accredited Respiratory Therapy program, as determined by the Committee on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC)
License/Certifications: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or proof of registry eligible status
State of Illinois Respiratory Care Practitioner licensure within six months of employment
