Full job description

Wellstar is seeking a Breast Sonographer PRN to join our collaborative, patient-centered imaging team. In this per-diem role, you will perform high-quality breast ultrasound exams and assist with ultrasound-guided biopsies to support early detection and accurate diagnosis. Responsibilities include obtaining patient history, explaining procedures, optimizing images, and documenting results in PACS/EMR. You will partner closely with radiologists and multidisciplinary teams while upholding strict safety, quality, and infection-control standards in a compassionate, community-focused environment.
