Veterinary Groomer

Here at Mayfair Pet Hospital located in Kissimmee, FL we understand that your pets are equally important members of your family, therefore providing quality yet affordable veterinary care to your pets is our main goal and priority. Our Doctors and staff are very knowledgeable, experienced, caring and eager to assist you and your pets with a variety of medical needs. We offer services from ultrasound machine, digital x-rays, full-surgery suite, and  both general practice as well as urgent care.

Join a supportive team in a high-end, modern environment. Pet Groomers will perform top quality grooms in a timely manner. Groomers should have current grooming experience and be able to consistently provide pups and parents with a high level of gentle and professional care. Job duties may include but not limited to:

• Clean the dog's teeth
• Maintain an upbeat attitude
• Calm an anxious dog
• Ensure company policies are being followed
• Communicate effectively with clients to find out what they need
• Shampoo and wash a dog's hair or fur
• Create a welcoming environment for dogs and their owners
• Cut or shave a dog's hair or fur

• High School diploma or GED equivalent
• Proficient at Grooming 
• Ability to lift dogs that weigh up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work in a professional manner
• Calming presence to pets
• Ability to stand on your feet for long periods of time
• Great communication skills
• Ability to work on a team

Pay Range: $15-$17/hr OR commission based
