Telemetry Unit - Travel Registered Nurse - $1770 per week.

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Telemetry Unit experience with 9 months within the last 12 months.

• 3 months of Meditech experience is preferred.

• 9 months of acute care experience with 9 months within the last 12 months.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Kentucky license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - HCA - Tristar Division.

Additional Details:

Preferred Skills/Experience: Chest tube knowledge and dysrhythmia training preferred.

Special Requests: Any special scheduling requests must be made with manager upon arrival at facility.

Unit Details: Patient ratios: 4:1 with cath recovery, 6:1 max ratio; at times may be stretched to 7:1. PCTs on day and night shift; unit clerks on day shift. Uses remote telemetry monitors and Alaris pumps. Procedures performed on unit include chest tube insertions, bedside paracentesis, and thoracentesis.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend.

Floating Requirements: Agency floats first and may float to Ortho/Med-Surg.
