As a Security Officer Armed Vehicle Patrol Driver in Tillery, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a government corrections location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver professional service and communication. This driving position offers the opportunity to support a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team at Allied Universal, where integrity and teamwork guide every shift.

What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or authorized personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities within a government corrections setting.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, perimeter areas, access points, and parking locations to help identify and report unusual activity or policy concerns.
- Monitor access to controlled areas, verify authorization as required, and report unauthorized entry attempts or prohibited items in accordance with site procedures.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
- Prepare accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation, and communicate observations to site leadership and/or responding agencies as directed.
Minimum Requirements:
- Possess at least six months of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- An armed guard card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
