Medical Records Specialist (Temporary-to-Hire)

Location: Framingham, MA 01702 (Onsite)

Full-Time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM EST

$21/hour

Start Date: July 26, 2026

Duration: 8+ weeks, with potential for permanent hire

We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Records Specialist to join the Health Information Management (HIM) Department. This role supports medical record processing in a fast-paced, high-volume healthcare environment and requires strong organizational, technical, and customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process medical record requests accurately and efficiently.
• Audit medical records to ensure completeness and compliance.
• Document and update information across multiple systems using dual monitors.
• Maintain confidentiality and accuracy when handling protected health information.
• Provide professional customer service to internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Experience working with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high-volume workloads.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
• Self-motivated with a focus on productivity and accuracy.
